Key Issues

* Desired launch by end of May is dependent upon getting the technical work (html & forms done) and soliciting postings from recruiters.

Accomplishments This Period

* Completed Job Board Initiative Template and Shane Wingard submitted it to the Board, who approved it.

* Identified a volunteer to assist with html & forms creation--James Parsons.

* Revised text for page & forms to be added to aifia.org.

* Sent revisions to James.

* Drafted letter to send to recruiters/companies regarding job board/requesting postings

* Solicited recommendations on recruiters from AIFIA listserv; incorporated suggestions received into recruiters list & added to "requirements and desired features" page of wiki

* Shane Wingard had a mailbox created for jobs@aifia.org. At present it will deliver mail to a2slb@bellsouth.net

* Started listing of recruiters and companies to solicit job postings

Tasks for Next Period

* Add to list of recruiters by soliciting names from LC.

* Finish list of recruiters by finding addresses and setting up mail merge.

* Get sign off on content for website & letter to recruiters.

* Develop HTML & forms.

* Post to site.

* Send mailing to recruiters.

* Draft policies/procedures doc

* Announce to AIFIA members and start sign-up process.

* Send out first mailing.
