Job description
The Company
My client is one of the leading leisure travel companies working with over 250 worldwide travel brands, the MD really understands the importance of UX therefore it is at the core of their business strategy.
The company is currently reinventing themselves around a multi-channel strategy therefore, experience in designing for multiple platforms (mobile, app, iTV) will be extremely desirable.
They invest heavily in their employees and offer them exciting national and international career progression opportunities as well as internal leadership programs for those who wish to drive their career further.
The Role
This Sussex based role will begin with you working on a large project which will involve creating a new platform and defining UX for a specialist brand for long distance tour operations. You will be coming in on the project halfway through however, upcoming projects will be focusing on platform changes with the power to potentially change the game for the tour operator industry.
Some of the great benefits to this job are that you will be given the opportunity to work on the entire project life cycle from the start to finish on many brands. The team is relatively new and growing, currently sporting 7 members in their UX team and their own in house UX Researcher which they are very proud to have.
They currently have very strong skills in visual, user research and usability but are in desperate need of someone with strong IA and/or interaction design skills. The role will in involve standard responsibilities such as project planning, design and development support and benchmarking.
Job qualifications
The Candidate
Typical experience with all the design and UX tools such as Axure/Omnigraffle, Photoshop and Illustrator are all very much essential for this role. They are seeking someone who has a strong background in Agile or Lean environments as well as experience in e-commerce or transactional websites however this is not essential.
Salary is up to 35K
