IA Grant Research
Each year, the Information Architecture Institute awards two USD $1,000 Progress Grants for 2006 for research in the field of Information Architecture. The purpose of the program is twofold:
- to encourage researchers and practitioners to investigate IA-specific issues
- to publicize useful work that furthers the information architecture body of knowledge.
The IA Progress Grant is awarded to an IA Institute member based on strict elligibility requirements and a rigorous review process by an Awards Jury.
Our latest grants were awarded to Celeste Lyn Paul of Maryland, USA whose research is entitled "A Delphi Approach To Card Sorting" and Jason Hobbs of Johannesburg, South Africa who researched on "Communal computing and shared spaces of usage".
