For most of us, no one will die if a design has a pixel out of place or the
wrong copy. Even if there are usability flaws in the final product, it's
usually not a matter of life and death and it can often be fixed in a later
release. But what if you worked on things that actually mattered in
protecting human life? Could you design as if peoples lives depended on it?

LA UX Meetup and IxDA Los Angeles are honored to welcome Mikkel Michelsen
visiting from Denmark to present his insights into the exciting world of
mission critical interaction design, where safety, security and protecting
human life enters the realm of digital technology and user experience
design.

Mikkel Michelsen is an interaction designer with 14 years of experience, out
of which a substantial part has been the design of specialized interactions
for healthcare, defence and industrial applications. He currently works at
www.systematic.com.

Space is limited so RSVP today!
