Information Architecture Master Class
International master class led by PETER MORVILLE, co-author of Information Architecture for the World Wide Web and Ambient Findability. This two-day master class is proudly endorsed by the Information Architecture Institute, Gurteen Knowledge, Image & Data Manager and The Australian Society of Archivists.
Interface stands on the shoulders of infrastructure. User experience relies on the foundation systems of information architecture. Also, the biggest problem on today's web sites and intranets is findability. This new two-day class from Peter Morville covers information architecture from top to bottom, explaining how search and navigation systems can be designed to support and shape user behaviour. Key benefits of attending:
- Explore the concepts, methods and tools needed to practice information architecture successfully
- Learn how to make your web site or intranet more useful, usable, accessible, desirable, credible and findable
- Take an in-depth tour of the most current and advanced search tools
- See best-in-class examples drawn from corporate, e-commerce, education, and government web sites and intranets
- Discuss the unique challenges you're facing today with your instructor and fellow attendees
