Human Interface Society, Usability Workshop (Yokohama)

During the 25th Usability Workshop for the Human Interface Society, I will introduce AIfIA and the current status of AIfIA-Japanese activities, and also talk about IA Education and production difficulties in the current tight project budgets most web design firms are facing. Also, there will be a report from HCI International 2003 and UPA 2003.

The workshop starts at 1:30 PM and will cost 1,500 yen per person. After the workshop, there will be a social gathering which will charge 2,000 yen, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM (which includes a tour of U'eyes novas Inc's usability laboratory).

AIfIA organizes a variety of informal Face 2 Face (F2F) meetings to foster discussion and professional networking. Members can volunteer to coordinate an event by sending email to events@aifia.org. Membership is not required to attend these events.
